On September 14, 2021 at 2:00pm, the Somerset County Agriculture Development Board will be hosting an event entitled Influencing Agriculture. Sit down with Somerset County Commissioner Melonie Marano as she leads a panel discussion with influential women in the agriculture community. The panelists will be sharing their stories, history of farming in our community, and where they believe agriculture is headed.

Join Margaret Waldock, Executive Director of Duke Farms; Lauren Salvatore, Sustainable Agriculture Coordinator for Duke Farms; Joanne Powell, Professor of Animal Sciences at Delaware Valley University; Debbie Norz, co-owner and co-operator of Norz Hill Farm and Market; and Erica Puskas, co-operator of the Middlebush Dairy Farm and co-owner of Big Cow Creamery, as they share their stories, the changes they have seen in agriculture, and their thoughts on the future of the industry.

The event will take place in the outdoor Farm Fresh Cafe of the Farm Barn located on the Duke Farms property: 1112 Dukes Pkwy W Hillsborough, NJ 08844
